Pre-Pregnancy Weight

I weighed myself today and I'm proud to say that I am back to the weight I was when I got pregnant with Zoe .... now I have to push a little harder and lose the rest of the weight that I didn't lose from Cynthia which is another 30 pounds, but I've set myself a goal to try to lose 50.

From the moment Cynthia was born we knew she was going to have her fathers brown eyes... but with Zoe it's still a mystery. Some days they look dark blue, other days they look brown and somedays they look olive.

Take you guesses on what her eye color is going to be!

I'm leaning towards Olive , Claude is leaning towards Brown.

Mystery Bumps

We got a call from the doctor that we went to go see for Zoe's Bumps and everything has been confirmed normal. The bumps ( well one is gone ) should disappear by her 6 month mark.

I am so relieved to hear that news, I didn't like not knowing what the mystery bumps were and if they would be a problem for her head development.

Aside from that news nothing to report here from Alberta, weather has been nice and summery... Zoe and Cynthia are ever changing everyday...

Takakkaw Falls

Takakkaw Falls (play /ˈtækəkɔː/) is a waterfall located in Yoho National Park, near Field, British Columbia, in Canada. Its highest point is 384m (1260 ft) from its base, making it the second-highest officially measured waterfall in western Canada, after Della Falls on Vancouver Island. However its true "free-fall" is only 254m (833 ft).

About a 2.5 - 3 hour drive from Cochrane deep into the BC Rockies we found this wonderful jem of a spot. The water in the river runs almost white making it look like milk. Claude and I decided to drive up yesterday for a picnic with the girls.

Back to Back Blogging - Part I - Zoe's first month

Officially today our darling baby girl is 1 month old today as of 3:01 am. I can saw that she has changed so much already is unbelievable.



So she hasn't started talking or anything like that *lol* but she has started smiling back now and she'll copy your facial experssions when you stick your tongue out or make oooo with your mouth. She is also very strong in the neck holding her head up. As much as I may jinx myself she is sleeping a 4 + 4 hour at night so far so it's been giving me a break on the sleep :0)

Bumps

Zoe's right head bump is almost gone, but the left one is still very visable and seems to have drawn the attention of the doctor.

On Monday we took Zoe to see a pediatric surgeon at the Children's Hospital. He didn't really like the feel of the left bump so sent us to get X-Ray's which we did the same day at the hospital and today for some ultrasounds. I'm hoping that the results are not alarming as I would hate for muffin (Zoe's nickname) to undergo procedures at such a young age.

I'll keep everyone updated once we get the results of all the test which should be next week as we are going into a long weekend here in AB this weeking.
