What a sunny Albertan day looks like

Finally after 6 days of constant rain it's a beautiful day here. Cynthia was more than excited to get out and play in the backyard. As you can see from some of the pictures it's still wintery in the rockies, but aren't they just beautiful?

Tomorrow Cynthia starts her new Home Care with Tara - I found her through the newspaper add she had posted - She has 3 more kids in her care, most are part time so this should be a good fit for her, aside from the fact that it's more of a boy majority, but I'm sure she'll be fine. It's also in an area that Claude and I would potentially be looking to purchase our house so it would work out well. In the event we don't buy in the area it's not more than 10 mins away from any other development so I guess it's no biggie. I hope the fit is good because Tara can take Zoe in the spring too :0)

This afternoon we may possibly get to the Spray Lakes Sports Center for a drop in Gymnastics class at 4pm, but still to be confirmed as I don't know what else is planned for today.

As for me I'm now starting my 36 week - Things are getting much harder for me to do, like doing dishes because I can't get close enough to the sink *lol* and cooking too my belly gets closer and closer to the heat source *lol* All I'm hoping for at this point is that Claude gets here in time to see Zoe make her arrival :0)

Arrived

Since our arrival Cynthia and I have been having a blast. Due to my aunt having traveled with me and is here for a week we did do some touristy things like head to the biggest mall in Calgary.

But so far this week I've officially become an Albertan driver, temp permit rcvd, now just waiting for my official one to come in the mail. Next on the list is when the car arrives to have it plated with AB plates.... but an inspection and proof of insurance is required first.

Today I know my mom has planned to do some garage sale'ing which I may or may not end up participating in, it's still being decided. My sister is coming down with Mike and Hux and we're going to see a movie. I don't think I've ever gone to see a movie with my sister *lol*

Other than that I'm still prego and will be starting my 35th week which means technically 5 more weeks to go, I'm starting to get anxious. I was thinking of packing my suitcase for the hospital this week just so it's ready to go at a moments notice. The only things I'd be missing would be Zoe's PJ's and outfits as those are in my car set to leave MTL by truck Tues/Wed next week.

Last Day

It's my last full day here in Quebec today and it's been a rather crappy one. I managed to drop off a happy child today for her last day at day care, but other than that.... blah.

I cleaned the bathroom to help Claudius out, he'll just have to maintain clean instead of deep clean. All the packing is done, with the exception that I'll do a load of laundry after dinner tonight so that most clothes packed will be clean.

Due to the Friday fiasco with the car carrier I booked Claude and I now have to re-pack my car so I can drop it off at the rail yard tomorrow.... should be fun seeing that it's raining cats and dogs out. Cross your fingers that it slows down later so we can accomplish this without getting to wet.

On the list for tomorrow.... yes tomorrow I still have stuff to do... OMG what a long day this will be... Cynthia has a haircut at 11am - then we wait for Claude to finish work (noon) - Drive both cars down to the rail yard - say goodbye to my "Honda" for now. Next stop my aunts place in Laval to pick her up, as she will be accompanying myself, Cynthia & Princess on our adventure to Alberta. Break for a bit to let the dog play with her dogs, eat and then off to the airport for the 4 hour + waiting trip to Alberta.

I'm excited, but sad at the same time. I'm going to miss Claude for a full month....with me being home for the past 3 weeks I must talk to him at least 4x a day on the phone and then all evening long too lol. I know Cynthia will miss him too, she misses him every morning when she comes in and he's not in the bed with me.

I'll post again once I get to Cochrane.

First Post

Ah, as much of you know we have an already existing family blog, however with the move about to happen it will soon be out of commission for a while and I wanted to make sure that we keep everyone up to date on how things are going within our little family which is about to expand by 1 at the end of June.

Welcome to the temporary Leveillee Family Blog.

On Tuesday Cynthia, the dog, belly & I are about to embark on our new adventure of living in Alberta. Claude will continue on to work until mid-June and come meet us on June 15th. It will be a long month without him, and I'm sure Cynthia and myself will miss him the moment we are away from him. I know that Cynthia is looking to see her Mammie and Pappie, but I'm sure she doesn't yet realize that we are not just there for a visit. I will be planning on getting her into day care as soon as possible so she doesn't get too homesick.

I'll be sure to post some pictures as soon as I can when I get to Cochrane.
