Bumps

Zoe's right head bump is almost gone, but the left one is still very visable and seems to have drawn the attention of the doctor.

On Monday we took Zoe to see a pediatric surgeon at the Children's Hospital. He didn't really like the feel of the left bump so sent us to get X-Ray's which we did the same day at the hospital and today for some ultrasounds. I'm hoping that the results are not alarming as I would hate for muffin (Zoe's nickname) to undergo procedures at such a young age.

I'll keep everyone updated once we get the results of all the test which should be next week as we are going into a long weekend here in AB this weeking.

Forgetmenot Pond

Yesterday we ventured out into kananaskis country for a picnic with my parents. With the weather hitting 26 in the sun it was a perfect afternoon. We stopped at Forgetmenot Pond, a cute little pond where people can go and enjoy a BBQ or picnic. There were even people on the water floating in inflatable boats (I'm not that brave the water is just above freezing).


This was a very popular tree - There was a lot of people stopping to pose next to this tree for some reason, it was quite entertaining to see.


The water is so clear you can see the bottom, almost like looking at a glass of kool-aid.

More Cynthia the Cow Girl

As the start of Stampede was Friday last week there was a Stampede Breakfast at the day care and the kids were invited to dress up in their Western wear.

Zoe made her wonderful arrival 1week ago. So far not bad.... The cluster feeding at night can get a bit rough at times, but I have to say so far she's been good. Lots of sleeping, feeding and pooping.

I'm doing okay too, the stitches I had to get aren't hurting as much, and so far other than the occasional slight melt down no baby blues. I have to say that everyone is great at helping out. Cynthia has been a bit on the down side due to her otitis so she has been more of a handful at times. She does love spending time with her little sister. She's very cute to see, always wanting to hug and kiss Zoe.

Plans for this weekend.... Not sure yet, but I will be sure to post up some pictures of cynthia in her stampede outfit as the Calgary Stampede kicks off this weekend " yeehaw" . I was hoping to get a chance to go, but I'm not sure yet Zoe is still so very new so I don't want to overwhelm her too much.
